Club Changes for 2012
Reduced Schedule in 2012
- Fewer Events to limit Costs for Running Tour
- Less competition against other tours and events
- More importance of each event.
Schedule for 2012
- Overall Costs for events are less in 2012 with changes to Prize Fund and event fee admin costs for 2012
- GAP in Schedule from End of September to middle of November due to courses not wanting to discount rates during Prime Golf
Base Order of Finish Point Structure based upon # Players in Field
- See Schedule for Top 4 Bonus Points by Event.
- Regular Season Event: 10 points per player in field
- Summer Major: 20 Points per Player in field
- Points will Reset prior to beginning of Playoffs as the seeding mechanism as done in the past 2 seasons.
Conflict Issue with eGolf
- eGolf Tour will have a Wilmington/Jacksonville group plus a Myrtle Beach group. Each group as a separate schedule plus the group will have combined events
- CCAGC has scheduled events as to not conflict with the Wilmington / Jacksonville group schedule since most of the CCAGC members that play or like to play both come from the Wilmington area.
- Impossible to avoid any conflicts with eGolf having an event scheduled every weekend throughout the season.

- Prior to 2011, Used 10 best scores of last 20 CCAGC Events over past 2 years
- 2011: Used Scale of Best Rounds over all rounds played during previous season plus current season (scale is based upon USGA guidelines.
Proposed Tour Index Calculation Changes for 2012 Open for Discussion
- Keep current process in place for determining your club index.
- Use a smaller subset of Club Scores (Last 4 or 6) played using 50% of those as your Club Index.
- Whichever way the club determines to calculate the club index, the policy will always be to use the lower index between your tour / club index vs your USGA index which is a requirement for CCAGC members.

Proposed Changes open to discussion

Event Net Skins, $5.00 per player per event
- Currently it’s a Full Field competition.
- Maximum of 1 stroke allowed on Par 3’s for Net Skins.
Local Rules
- Time Breaker for 1st Place Finishes
Use USGA recommendation of using Net Score from Holes 10-18 as 1st tiebreaker, then holes 13-18 as 2nd tiebreaker
then holes 16-18 as 4th tiebreaker then if still tied starting on 18th hole going backward until tie is broken.
- Replaces using Hardest 3 Holes as the Tiebreaker, then 4th, 5th hardest hole until a tie is broken.
- 1st option is always to do sudden death on course if course allows it.
